Swaziland

Ready at 6:45am. Went out to the carepoint to pick up the work team and we were off to Ezulwini to go to Mlilanwe (I think that's how it's spelled) game park where we were to climb Execution Mountain. Nice name huh? I wonder why it has that name. Basically, this mountain has a huge boulder rock at the top. It took forever to climb when it was only supposed to take an hour. I guess it takes that long for Africans to climb. I thought I was going to die. It was like a Grand Canyon repeat, accept in opposite directions.

Finally, when we were all at the top, most of us girls had headaches, were dizzy, out of breath and our legs were like jello. We stayed up there for 30 minutes to an hour and hung out. Took lots of great pictures. One is very special that I am sure you will enjoy...I almost fell off a cliff and died. Just kidding. That's how it looks in the picture though.

Coming down, of course, wasn't as difficult. As we were hiking down we heard drums in the distance and someone said that there was a cultural village closeby. I also had a waterfall pointed out to me, but I couldn't really see it because trees were covering.

So while we were hiking back we found Zebra in the fields. They were pretty. Some of the boys ran after them. When we got back down to the bottom where we had a braai, we found warthogs, impala and ostrich roaming the eating area. We got maybe 2 yards away from a warthog. Guess they've been fed before. We kept having to scare them away though because before when the Cox's were there, the warthogs have grabbed food and ran away. Some of the guys tried to catch the ostrich to jump up on it like in Swiss Family Robinson.

For the Braai we had pork chops and veggies. Eunice made come special cookies and a wonderfully scrumptious chocolate bunt cake with chocolate chips inside even. Rick made his world famous lemonade. Oh, is it ever good!

So we were all done from then on because the hike was a big hike. So we sat in chairs and talked little. Some of the group went off to see huge catfish in the pond there. Others went to get a milkshake at the restaurant closeby.

Eventually we left and not much happened when we got back. Pretty much we just got ready for bed and then went to bed. It was a long day.
